Some Clarification About The Purpose and Goals of This Project/Presentation:

  • The purpose of this project is to present to each other the stories of imaginative and intelligent people, who are currently making a positive and profound difference all over the globe. We hope that these presentations will provide you with ideas about how you can use your own imagination and intelligence in ways that you've never dreamed. In many ways, the people at TED remind us a lot of you. Our hope is that their projects will inspire you to make a positive difference in the world.

  • At this point, your group should tackle TASK 3 (see below). The guidelines area has questions to help get the ball rolling for your March 10th presentation. Your group "page" is where you create the presentation that you will project (like a PowerPoint) to your audience. As you prepare, communicate with each other using the discussion tool on your group page (the "discussion" tab on top of the page).

  • On March 10, you'll have 20 minutes to rehearse your presentation before we begin the formal presentations.

  • If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask Mr. Allen or Mr. Morgan. In fact, you may use the discussion tab at the top of this page.

Feb 27: It's time to start working on your presentations. See Task 3!

As you can see, we now have our 10 videos.
There are two groups with four freshmen, and we are only supposed to have three freshmen in each group.
No need to add another one.

In addition, indicate a group spokesperson by underlining his/her name. The spokesperson's primary job is to update Mr. Allen and Mr. Morgan when they want to know how things are going.
